They can NOT raise the interest rate anymore cuz the payment for the interest on the debt will add up to about the defense spending and welfare spending combined.
So it will be inflation for us all.

And the 3.5 trillion bill being tossed around right now is MORE than the fiscal year 2019 total federal revenue.
So a 29 Trillion national debt and 3.86 Trillion revenue would be the same as a household having total debt of $290,000 (mortgage, car loans, student debt, credit card balances) and an annual income of $38,600. Under current mortgage rules, can you even get a large mortgage with 38k in income?
I suppose if you live in your parents' basement and pour coffee at Starbucks, that all makes sense. The parents who live upstairs might have a different opinion .
