Hurricanes/ Tropical systems unloading heavy rains far from their landfall is nothing new....Camille/Agnes/Floyd/Elena etc....list goes on and on.
Hurricanes have been hitting the US since before Columbus sailed the Ocean blue.
I remember one back in the Coming Ice Age hysteria around 1972. It hit the gulf coast, traveled inland and dumped flood waters all over West Virginia causing masive floods.
What makes me remember this hurricane was a newsman rushed up to a child whose parents had just drowned in a flash flood.
He stuck the microphone in the kid’s face and asked...”How do you feel now your parents are dead!”

2. He wants us to do something about it quickly? Exactly what does he want us to do? We are back in the Paris global warming agreement. We have cut back emissions quite a bit in the last 5 to 10 years. We have cut way back on utilities using fossil fuels. What exactly does he suggest, to prevent another flood in NYC? Is he going to say we need to pay multi trillion dollar infrastructure bills in order to prevent another flood?
The Dems are trying to cover for their failure to maintain and support infrastructure. Had to argue with some twit last night that was decrying all the “climate change” as NYC flooded and I had to point out that the DNC has let infrastructure crumble while diverting funds to line their own pockets.
“Climate Change” is merely a ruse to cover up for grand theft.
Well comparing floods I would say the worst flood in history occured sometime back in 14,000 B.C.
