I have a feeling this will be magnified, because it happened in New York City, the media capital of America.
So since the media people who live there personally experienced it, we will hear their personal anecdotes about being stuck somewhere due to rising water. We will hear how their basements flooded. We will hear how they had never seen such flooding in NYC, so of course it must be due to global warming.
And they may even tie it in with how we must pass trillions of dollars in infrastructure spending to prevent more floods in NYC.
