Since the Chinese will be controlling most of the lithium mined in the world, how is Musk going to pull this off?

You enter the vehicle through the “suicide doors.”

Young people will line up to buy them, and after they kill many people, the Govt will look the other way, just like they do with Wind Turbines chopping up endangered and protected species 24x7.

Mark my words.

What are all those folks down in the New Orleans area doing for electricity for their electric cars?

If your electric car runs out of juice on the highway while you are evacuating, can someone bring you a can of electric to get you going?

Just promise they’ll be likely to kill many more progressives wanting to feel smugly superior to us gas burning deplorables.

Sounds like it will be fun to drive ... assuming computers have fun.

I’m constantly amazed that they like and trust these things in Silicon Valley … because people there usually know some programmers.

You have to pay extra for the steering wheel option.

Actually just test drove a Tesla because my daughter is a big Elon Musk fan. It was not what I expected at all. Car was roomy and comfortable. Pulling out from the dealership onto a very busy highway, the car went from 0 to 60 in about three seconds. It was pretty impressive.

The electrical grid is going to go dark or melt, and suddenly the intellectually unwashed will scream holy murder. “We never planned on this happening.”

We don’t have the electrical infrastructure in place to carry the current, much less the POWER SOURCE.

Needs to be 10 times that much - to cover the lawsuits that will be sure to come.

I can't wait to buy one.

In fact, I think I will buy two, in case the first one crashes.

So if your Tesla has no steering wheel, and it runs over some school children, who is at fault?

This is why we end up with so many government regulations and laws.

“Lets make a car without a steering wheel.”

They'll make up for it by adding a breathalyzer.
