In 2002 or 03 I was over in Scotland for my last Scottish Clan Society gathering. There were a bunch of folks from NZ and AU there. Of course they were asking me about our gun rights and how shameful it was that we enjoyed those rights the way we do.

I wonder if I can dig up the phone numbers to them and call them and ask if they remember those words.

Gun control is not exactly the right phrase to use for what Australians did to themselves. They voluntarily surrendered over 1 million personal weapons in the late 90s. After they were asked to. They weren’t told to, they voluntarily gave them up.
And please don’t use the term concentration camp when you’re referring to Australia. Believe it or not, their official policy favors the term quarantine camps.

There are more guns now in Australia then before the requirement to license them. The average person who had a gun in past has risen to 4 per gun owner.
‘They’ are officially building quarantine accommodation for those citizens returning from overseas who need to quarantine for two weeks.
It’s a measure designed to do away with hotel quarantine. Arrivals go into quarantine as soon as they land.
Beats allowing illegals to cross the border from Mexico in their thousands. Maybe the US could do the same? You could use the FEMA camps you already have?

I hope you are right about the quarantine camps being built in Australia. But I have to tell you, everything I’m seeing leads me to believe that it won’t be long before the difference between an Australian quarantine camp and a Nazi concentration camp will be hard to distinguish.
That was quick, wasn't it? Govt health care for all, a human right. Now do as they say or you won't get any medical treatment for anything.
