Everyone who died for any reason after testing positive for COVID or who died for any reason without being tested but after having “flu-like symptoms” is included in the official number of people who died of COVID last year. This is why the flu death rate dropped to almost zero last year.
George Floyd was probably the only person in the United States who died with COVID last year who was not diagnosed as dying of COVID.
