US hospital healthcare was already below the rest of the industrialized world, somewhat because the doctors are becoming hired hands contract work and foreign-born - This takes the level of care down, not due to race, but due to being less in touch with patients in general.
Nurses will soon be all contract workers and foreigners.
This will raise your premiums, yes, but I can’t imagine how bad the care will be now. Nurses were the stopgap. Going to the hospital will be like going into Hospice.
Exercise. Eat better. Research natural meds. Sleep enough. Get Medicare supplemental.
Where does New York find these nutburgers????
Unfortunately, these days it isn’t too difficult.
It has been very evident in my area of northeast NJ and NYC; Americans are in short supply. They’re contracepting and aborting themselves into extinction.
Note to NYS unions: Your leadership is throwing you under the bus. Be very careful before you approve a new contract. Be very, very careful...
Back in the eighties I was on Guam for a bit and I would regularly see in the classified section of the local rag, RN’s and dentists and other medical professionals from the Philippines were seeking a marriage arrangement so they could come to the U.S.A and willing to pay money for that marriage arrangement. And I knew a couple of people that went into a contract and they were paid 5,000 bucks in 80s money, married, spouse gets a med job, citizenship and then, as agreed upon, divorce.
I also worked with someone who married a Japanese and spent over 10 years trying to get a visa for his bride. His company sent him to Japan frequently which eased the situation somewhat.
In these evil times, that might not be a joke. There is a report elsewhere on FR today of two C-17s full of Haitians landing at Andrews AFP who were then loaded into four buses and headed to points North.
Note to healthcare refuseniks: You're not the only ones being hung out to dry. Either we hang together or we will surely hang separately.
Note to the vaxxed: You, too.
