Business owner are the folks MOST damaged by this faux covid world wide disaster. Punishing them more is feeding right into the hands of those who want government control of EVERYTHING.
More effective would be if all conservatives join together in stopping taxes from reaching the government. DEFUND THE GOV’T!
Or might the gov’t just have more money printed to pay for the enforcers to go after such a large number of tax non-payers?

Nowhere in my comment did I volunteer any info on how I would react to or deal with that situation. I was simply revisiting history.
States need to refuse federal funding. Then the feds can no longer threaten to withhold money if a state does not comply.
Would require individual states to self fund (raise their own taxes)

I’d like the state gov’t defunded as well. Use same moneys to fund local cops of taxpayers choice to keep rule of law, forcing the state and federal government to offer their services for prices that would require parring down.
Just a fantasy, for sure. The real “solution” to our current problem is going to unfortunately be extremely unpleasant.

The Jan 6th protestors found out that they are on their own. No cavalry coming to the rescue for them. I’m unaware of a single Republican in Congress who is making a serious effort to free them. A few are giving lip service and that’s about it.
I’m keeping my head down and doing my best to not attract attention. If the shit gets real, which I doubt will happen but it might, I’ll go to ground.
Here in Texas school districts are forbidden mask mandates. The DOJ is filing a lawsuit.
another great tactic would be senior citizen flash mobs at grocery stores all lined up at self-checkout to pay for their purchases ... would be hilarious to see store manager and his assistants trying to kick out a bunch of seniors and getting frustrated enough to call the cops and press trespassing charges and having arrests made ... talk about your BAD publicity!
