I’m ready to go with my boots on but I won’t have to. I live rurally in MA, I doubt anyone will come. If they do the shotgun I have doesn’t havea a magazine so no issue there. Everything else will be in NH in an even more rural location.

Never thought I would live to see the day my beloved America would fall so far so fast, with half the American people apparently supporting its demise.
None of mine are registered, none of mine have ever been registered, none of mine will EVER be registered.
Some of the ones I own were purchased at estate sales as just another piece of junk the surviving wife wanted to get rid of.
A couple were actually purchased at legitimate gun stores long before these stupid rules came into being.
Some of the others were acquired from different sources that have nothing to do with the government and are nobodies business but my own.
All of them were lost when my cabin was burned to the ground in a big forest fire last year.
Probably be fighting with the insurance company for the next 100 years.

Notice that this requirement only pertains to such rifles owned LAWFULLY. That is because SCOTUS has ruled that to force prohibited criminals to comply with such laws amounts to unconstitutional self-incrimination.

Nobody here seems to be getting it. The IRS will be enforcing this. This legislation makes it equivalent to a tax stamp. It won't matter where your guns are. They want your money first. And if you don't pay your taxes, the IRS will do what they do best. Then later, they can come for your guns if they want to.

You filled out a Form 4473 which stays at the gun seller’s file, and they used the info on that to look it up in the fed NICS database to see that there wasn’t anything on record that you couldn’t buy it.
NICS database has info on felons and other categories of people that aren’t allowed to own guns.
