Anyone want to tell me again that secession is not a viable alternative?

How is Florida going to secede without Miami, Orlando and Tampa, etc.? Dems control nearly all the cities. Secession is a day dream at this point.

The virus has a 99.9% survival, and they want to threaten people’s jobs with a jab that has killed more people that all the previous vaccines combined.

True; but the real interesting question is: did the vax kill more people than the virus?

This is strait up anti-God, anti-American deep state and global marxist crush of any notion of free markets.

Its long-past time for a constitutional crisis on states’ rights>>> States don’t have rights. People do. States have delegated powers.

I think the technical term is “ukase.” The electoral college gave us a tsar, not a president, on Jan. 6.

Nobody is following law, neither the white house or the states. We have dueling exec orders right now, which are not law.

Mandates issued at any level of government do not carry the weight of law.

I’ll wait till i see the actual law before I decide who will win

Always prudent. Until the promised ETS is issued, and has been found by the court(s) to be authorized by the Occupational Safety and Health Act, there is nothing about which to argue. If the ETS is upheld by the courts, then it would supersede any action taken by Texas. If the ETS is struck down by the courts (i.e., as not being a lawful or reasonable exercise of OSHA's authority under the OSH Act, or on some other grounds), then that should be the end of the matter as well. Texas can do what Texas wants to do.

Secession? Throw the SOBs out. They're not a state, not a government - they're Globalist Totalitarians who think they're entitled to other peoples' rights.

Exactly. Biden actually thinks that his babbling, gaffe-filled speeches are law.

Have you read the constitution lately?

Funny how the media never asks the simple — and non-partisan — questions posed on this thread.

The follow up by any responsible reporter would have been: “Where exactly is this law you speak of and how is it supported by the Constitution overriding the 10th Amendment?”

Must be true because Psaki the Pstupid has spoken. It is absolutely mindboggling what a collection of dimwits this administration has assembled. Take after their boss, I guess.

Uh, have you? This is paint-by-numbers stuff, dating back to 1787 and, as a pragmatic matter, confirmed at Appomattox Courthouse in 1865.

"This Constitution, and the laws of the United States which shall be made in pursuance thereof; and all treaties made, or which shall be made, under the authority of the United States, shall be the supreme law of the land; and the judges in every state shall be bound thereby, anything in the Constitution or laws of any State to the contrary notwithstanding."

-- U.S. Constitution, Article VI.

It would seem to me that a TES could easily be challenged, not being passed by Congress.
