There was a bad reason, Nancy needed a death to make this a “deadly insurrection”, looked like Ashli was set up for a hit to me.
It was murder, plain and simple. The perp must be tried and jailed.

I’ve thought that all along. This whole deal is a set up. It was lead by people like John Sullivan (who I believe was paid by CNN to instigate and capture the money shots) and some unidentified FBI’s.
Nancy had to nix Jordan(claimed he is a material witness although he was not there) and Banks who she claimed had already made up his mind. That is laughable. These two would have asked embarrassing questions and perhaps may have even exposed some truths.
The whole event is part of a master plan to tame any action by Trump supporters that will expose the real conspiracy. It all has worked so far.
Laugh if you like, but we are so screwed.
For me the true test of whether this use of force was justifiable was “could the entry have been prevented by lesser force?”. Could the window been blocked or her entry prevented by non violent force like a chair or other obstacle? Was it necessary to fire the first shot into the victim or should a warning shot have benn fired first to indicate the threat that was perceived? I’m not a trained law enforcement officer but I don’t believe fatally shooting someone who is obviously unarmed just because they are attempting to enter a room is the first option taught in training.

I can see no way that shooting was justified.
The first time I saw the video which I believe was that day or the day after I considered it an execution, and still do.
The death of Ashli Babbitt was retribution for George Lloyd. I will continue to believe it until I am proved wrong.

The video of that incident haunts me. There was no excuse for her murder. She was clearly setup by that agent provocateur. Our government wanted someone to die, and that wonderful women blundered into their sights. I hate that.
She was making no attempt to enter the room. She merely stepp up to look in. She was also standing right next to two armed and uniformed policemen, neither of whom were taking any action against her.
