Anyone who intervenes could get killed, or slashed or shot, or badly beaten.

And yes, they will sue you after you pay your own thousands in medical bills for any injuries, and you may be labeled a white racist and your career future ruined.
Plus, criminals for NOT stay in prison forever. they get out in 1,2,3, years and go out to find you and get revenge on you. That may involve hurting your children or spouse, too.

According to the Columbus Dispatch, Garrett tried to break up a fight between a man and a woman on Aug. 30, 2020, and the man shot him in the face. The bullet went through one cheek and out the other.

That’s what we were told. It did incalculable damage. I will say though, that Western chauvinism is alive and well in the decent suburbs and the country. That’s because those areas still function as a civil society. The breakdown is in the cities. Decent people shouldn’t live there.
Intervening would have been insane. He would have played the black victim card, and the media would have backed him up.
