yes she was...
St. Louis fans supported the Rams very well, despite a league-worst record for several years before and after the Dick Vemeil/Kurt Warner period of 1999-2004. Bernie Miklas, then of the St. Louis Post Dispatch once compared the attendance figures for the StL. Rams of the 2007-12 (approximately) period (when the team was uniformly bad) to those of the LA Rams in the mid-80’s (when they often made the play-offs). Attendance at the STL games was significantly better than those for LA. Don’t spread the lie that the fans didn’t support the team.
I went to a game the year after they were in the Super Bowl. What I saw was no lie, people did not come out to support the defending NFC champs. Many sold their tickets to Cowboys fans. Much of the sell-outs (especially in the early pre-GSOT years) were on paper by corporations buying seats to prevent blackouts, etc. Anaheim was a baseball stadium and the Colisseum couldn’t keep the Raiders either. Kroenke opened his own wallet to build the new stadium instead of relying on government handouts like Georgia Frontiers did.
