It IS confusing- what is a “transgender man” as opposed to a “transgender woman”?
I read the article and must admit that I am still confused.
Ms Minton scheduled a hysterectomy so I assume that Ms Minton has a uterus and the Ms Minton is transitioning from a biological female to something that has the outward appearance of a male.
Alternatively, Mr. Minton is a biological male who is so deeply into his fantasy of being a woman that he is afraid of getting pregnant and prefers the option of the hysterectomy (including non-existent uterus and ovaries).
I see nowhere in the article that Mr/Ms Minton is carrying the burden of a mental illness although I did note that when informed of the hospital’s decision, Mr/Ms Minton ‘collapsed to the ground’. Not much drama there. /sarc
I’m just an ignorant 77 year0old country boy, but I thought a hysterectomy involved certain Lady Parts that a man now being a woman doesn’t actually have.

They represent men who sue because a hospital won’t perform operations which are physiologically impossible.

Hospital should have said “we can’t do it because it is impossible to remove a uterus from a man’s body”
Makes me sooo glad Amy Commie Barrett is on the court. Nice to know a solid conservative with a strong Catholic background is there taking care of business....along with Kavanaugh (at least I expected him to be a disappointment!) and, of course, John “Compromised” Roberts.

A transgender woman is a man. A transgender man is a woman.
This lawsuit is about a woman who wanted doctors to perform an unnecessary and irreversible surgical procedure because she thinks she's a man.
It's happening to young women and even minor girls all across the country. They're getting hysterectomies and mastectomies because this transgender madness has taken over the medical profession.
I'm starting to think that liberals are going to find themselves increasingly pleased with Justices Kavanaugh and Barrett.
Those are some mighty fine justices Trump was able to ram thru to get on the court.
They haven’t made a decent ruling yet, the lot of them except for Gorsuch a time or 2.
This “person” could have selected any hospital to have its “hysterectomy” but it chose to a Catholic Hospital so it could sue.
This is just crap. And they are making law up as they go along, from the district courts to the SCOTUS.
OK...It all comes down to FACT....
A human with XX chromosomes is female...
A human with XY chromosomes is male...
Female is woman...
Male is man...
It doesn’t matter what is cut off or sewed on...XX is woman and XY is man...
What the person thinks doesn’t matter ....
