Not true. She may be the first female black lieutenant governor “in America”. She is not the first black lieutenant governor. North Carolina elected Republican candidate Mark Robinson, a black male, Lt. Governor in 2020. Robinson, a true conservative, beat Democrat Yvonne Holley, also an African American. Robinson’s victory was a surprise given his lack of enthusiastic support from the state and national GOP and the fact he was a political neophyte.
Like Winsome Sears, Robinson’s victory was not celebrated by the liberal media.
Since the election Roy Cooper, the state’s Democrat governor will not meet with Robinson or include him government events and activities. Cooper, and the media in NC, have called for Robinson to resign due to his less than politically correct comments about LBGTQ people. Robinson said in opposition to the teaching of homosexuality, transgenderism, and bisexuality, “I’m saying this now, and I’ve been saying it, and I don’t care who likes it: Those issues have no place in a school. There’s no reason anybody anywhere in America should be telling any child about transgenderism, homosexuality — any of that filth”.
Mark Robinson, is an African American who refused to live on the liberal Democrat plantation. He is receiving the full onslaught of the left to force him out while his party remains cowardly in the background. I hope Winsome Sears realizes what is coming and is prepared to stand tall. Hopefully Governor Youngkin and other GOP officials will stand tall with her when the liberal voices of hate, and true racism, go on the attack.
Sadly, we don’t hear national country club Republican leaders trumpeting these new faces in the party.
Really? Her campaign brochures didn't have her picture? Her TV ads didn't have her appear in them? The news reports didn't show her face? LOL.
What about the Latino Attorney General that was also just elected along with her in Virginia? They didn't see him either, or see his obviously Latino / Hispanic surname on the ballot?
What about AC Cardoza who campaigned door to door in his House of Delegates district to win? The voters saw him face to face.
Does she also believe people in South Carolina have been repeatedly electing Tim Scott without ever seeing what he looks like? Daniel Cameron in Kentucky? Donald Douglas in Kentucky? Ralph Alvarado in Kentucky? Marco Rubio in Florida? Etc.?

Consider yourself lucky. They’re both loathsome creatures. Reid can say anything without consequences because she has protected-class privilege. Comcast owns her.

Doesn’t make sense that you write both “All 2” and “All 3”. Did your total number of kids change between the two statements?
Also, my kids — actually step kids, all five of them — are turning out to be deeply conservative, which I attribute to the way my late wife and I raised them, in addition to mostly good public schools in the area and religious education.

My late wife said she was a conservative, but allowed the kids to smoke weed, drink underage, etc. This was while we were separated, and before she died, of course.
