Trey Gowdy spilled the beans that they ALL knew it was a hoax.

There is ample video evidence that he’s lying beyond measure. It’s not that they couldn’t be sure of the factual nature of the dossier, no, it was that Schiff asserted it was absolutely true, and he had evidence.
The man should go to jail, but he won’t. The media will shield him, the political class would never harm one of their own in that way, without real benefit to themselves, and the public is just far too stupid.
They knew but didn’t care. I am amazed that he’s now admitting that the whole story was fabricated. Competent liars never concede anything, no matter how obvious the facts are. Like Hillary.

They also knew that many charges would stick and tarnish Trump forever. The number of people who believe Trump is guilty of some heinous crime is astounding.
Then he shouldn't be on the "Intelligence Committee." He should be hanging from an oak.

He’s also counting on people’s very short memories. Shifty constantly claimed that he’d seen damning evidence unrelated to the Steele dossier.
Remember the Devin Nunes memo? It claimed at the dossier was the sole reason for the investigation and Democrats were livid and vehemently denied this. Turns out that everything Nunes said was correct.
Now this is ridiculous. Sean Hannity knew it - so how did the ranking member (now Chairman) of the Intelligence Committee not know it?
Can’t believe he’s showing up to do interviews about this...he would be politically smarter to have ignored this and not shown up anywhere to talk about it. I’m fine with it as it draws more attention to it, but he could have helped bury it even more than the press is already doing by not drawing any attention to it...well, whatever, keep talking.
