I still have a shudder go through me when I turn up a certain brand of cashews and it says from blah blah and Vietnam. And a Wal-Mart shirt I looked at said Made in Vietnam. I thought McCain and his business pals smiling and embracing the Communist Vietnam business leaders a few years ago. After so many died or were maimed for nothing. Old men sent young men out to die and made money off the wars.
Which border? Their western border with Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania and Moldova? Their eastern border with Russia? The eastern border with the Donetsk and Lugansk separatist regions, either at the claimed or the de facto borders? How about the Crimea?
We can't (or won't) even control our own border with Mexico. How can we control the Ukranian-Russian border? And the British special forces would be better used defending their own Channel coast.
If Russia feels a need to go in (unlikely), this is a suicide mission, for these men & potentially the fools that sent them.

According to the article, the units they’re sending are Special Boat Squadron and Special Air Squadron troops, IOW special forces comparable to the Navy SEALs or US Army Rangers.
