It does not take a vicious beating, if you go unconscious and fall, good luck.
And the DAs in these Cities play these games. The perps are charged with several serous charges, but 8 months, a year later, they are quietly dropped. And the Criminals know it’s open season.

I had to do that one night.
I was driving in an unfamiliar area of Las Vegas where there was road construction (duh, there’s always road construction in Las Vegas) when I cut off another driver. Next thing I know, she is following me and tailgating me so closely I couldn’t see her headlights. The only police substation I knew of was near my neighborhood so it took me nearly 15 minutes to get there. She followed all the way until I pulled into the parking lot. I waited a few minutes and then took a round-a-bout route home to make sure she wasn’t following me again.
I recall about 15 years ago while driving on the 60 Day into downtown LA, some chollo gangbanger was following me. Very irate. Giving me the finger and screaming his ass off. I changed lanes and rolled down the window because I couldn’t figure out WTF his problem was. The gist of it was he mistakes me for somebody that cut him off the day before and was going to F’ me up when I pulled over. I just smiled, pulled out my cell phone camera and video taped him. Then I slammed on my brakes to get behind him and took video of his license plate all while he continues to loose his mind. I made sure he was watching me in his rearview mirror while I called the CHP. By the sudden expression on his face he must have finally realized what I was doing because he had that undeniable look of fear and panic. He knew he was busted and couldn’t get away due to traffic and the nearest exit was another 1.5 miles. A CHP motorcycle cop and a patrol car used the emergency Lane to get past traffic and pull him over. The look on his face was priceless. He went from 100% badass to 100% pussy instantly.
Suffice to say, the CHP advised me later that he was a recently patrolled gangbanger and meth addict that had been berating drivers on the freeway for the past few days due to meth.
Most people are too rattled to think clearly and use their cell phone when confronted with road race. Keep your hands free phone on at all times and just call the cops.
The man you quote needs a serious beating himself, and a crack in the head with a skateboard for good measure. Just taking him at his word!
Trying to see now if he’s the guy....several different people are being posted on the internet as him now...this might not be.
Joseph Voisey, 34, was arrested over the weekend, nearly three months after the incident. He is charged with felony assault.
The s.o.b. is 6’5” and weighs 250lbs. There was a warrant for his arrest and his first court appearance was suppose to be yesterday. No bond, but the papers did a lousy job of reporting so it’s not clear whether they hauled his ass in or not. She was in the hospital 86 days. She is partially paralyzed on her left side and is having to learn to speak all over again.
Yup. Makes you wonder if he’s ever prosecuted anyone for assault. I don’t see how he can, going forward.
We had a local guy intervene in a domestic dispute in a bar. He got his head bounced off the curb outside, and died. Pro tip: if some a-hold is gonna smack his wife in public, he’s not going to respond well to confrontation.
Why stop at half?
He deserves all, but if you take everything it leaves him without an incentive to work.
