Nothing is going to change as long as McConnell is in charge.
The same turncoats, including my 2 senators, Burr & Tillis.
Shelby is out next year, but his hand-picked successor, Katie Britt, has been endorsed by Mitch McConnell.
The people of Alabama need to vote against Katie Britt.
Why that sentiment? It will happen on God's schedule, and meanwhile we should be about our honest business.
I will take Mo over Shelby’s hand-picked successor, Katie Britt, any day.
Kennedy is a stage actor preloaded with witty sayings.
Must be connected too, or else he would not have been allowed to take this seat.
The government that governs least governs best. With a shutdown, the American people win.
A lot of the scum will gone in 2022 and a number won’t survive primary challenge!

What was won in past shutdowns?
Didn’t take much to put that list of cowards together ... just ctrl-paste because the list is used so often.
Isn't that right? Notice how the number 19 keeps coming up. I think developing a case of Primonumerophobia. Yeah, it's a real word. (I copied lightman, he's our resident linguist.)
Honestly, I was surprised to find that Toomey was NOT on that list!
I noticed that. Arlen has actually been pretty decent in his voting record lately.
You’re right of course. Lightman will know ... he’s our modern day Samuel Johnson ... or is it Noah Webster ... whatever. Lightman knows words and stuff (such as “What’s a synonym for “thesaurus”?)
Lightman once learned me one of dem fancy words, ‘defenestration’. He did good. It done stuck.
I don’t know what that is, but most of the 19 are either on their way out the door or were just re-elected, so none of them care.
However, if the ones that were just sent back were to experience a legitimate, grass roots call to vacate the seat, that might mean something.
Can you imagine the groveling that Graham would be doing if the people of SC finally said they had enough and demanded his resignation?
Of course, I don’t see that happening. Of the votes that people like Graham gets, I’d say about half are from folks just like him and Mace. The other half don’t have a choice.
