According to quotes in the article, Lara Logan didn’t compare him to Mengele. In response to Fauci’s claims that he represents science, she reported that others were doing so.

So long as she’s aware that 2-3 people have thus opined (and I’m sure they have), Fauci has zero legal grounds for a suit, but it would be one heck of a trial. As a moral relativist, Fauci likely refuses to believe what he has done was wrong.
