Possibly, but I am not so sure. Don Lemon is a 'twofer'. He is both black and gay so he has double indemnity. The optics of a big cable network firing someone in two protective classes would be less than favorable, so they will simply tolerate him and continue to pay him. MSNBC has the same problem wit joy reid (black and female). Both are pretty much untouchable unless the networks want to pay them a massive severance package to "pursue other opportunities".

FYI, I read a piece about a week ago that CNN is being sold to a straight-laced, Hard Ass. CNN is just about broke and viewership is in the dumps and getting worse. The new owner intends to clear the deck by getting rid of all the screwballs that have drifted far,far away from being a news outlet.
