I am Jewish - and Trump is correct.
For most Reform or unaffiliated Jews, their “god” is Leftism of one stripe or another. They view and act like Judaism is just a culture, but either don’t go to synagogue or, if they do they believe in many things that traditionally Judaism either forbids or just doesn’t believe in - and never has or will.

Trump does misspeak sometimes as when he lumps folks together who ought not be lumped together. To suggest that all American Jews don’t care about Israel lumps all the secular, Leftist, Liberal, Progressive Jews with all other American Jews and that is an error.
He’s right about liberals of the Hebraic faith, who are not Jews. Their religion is liberalism.
What he should not have said was Israel had control over Congress. That is an anti-Semitic trope. I know he didn’t mean it that way, but it is unfortunately, fuel for the left.
He needs to clarify that one point.
