What does “financial conflict” have to do with the Supreme Court Justices?

I am appalled that Roberts finds it necessary to even TALK about “finances.” It’s unseemly. It has NOTHING to do with judicial decisions.

There are so few ‘brains’ to be found in DC. Not only do
our SC Justices lack, take a gander at congress members. They’ve no clue whatsoever when attempting to write a bill
for a law (according to the Constitution). Most have no
idea of American History and what this country stands on and
for. Put them on Jeopardy playing against an ordinary citizen and chances are they’d return home with EMPTY pockets. Something they’ve never experienced before.
Having faith in the government is akin to believing in Santa, the tooth fairy, and babies are found in the garden,after being dropped there by the stork.
