Supermarket CEO Warns of Possible Meat, Egg Shortages as Omicron Stresses Supply Chain

We just did our on line and deliver in 2 hour delivery with Costco.

We had 18 items, and 6 of those items had multiples of the same item. There were zero items with a limit re the number, you could order.

Every item was ordered and was delivered on time.

Yet, the woman, who does my wife’s hair had been to the same Costco store in person, on Friday, and half of the items on her list were not stocked.

She said there were a lot of bare shelves. There were so many cars lined up to buy gas at Costco, she just came home rather than wait about an hour.

Last Thursday, I did our local weekly grocery order at Nob Hill a division of Raleys.

I had 23 items on my list and got 22 and added 6 on sale items not on my list. The one unfilled/not in stock item was frozen diced potatoes. Their frozen food section seems to have some bare shelves every time I go past them. My wife prefers to cook/serve the fresh produce versus frozen. That fresh produce section continues to look great on every trip. I was in this store at about 3 pm, and there were stockers all over the store and two people working the produce area.

Paper towels were gone.
