The point of HIPPA [etc., etc.]
You don't mean the Health Insurance Portability & Accountability Act, or HIPAA, do you? But you holding forth and pontificating on the "point of HIPPA," whatever that may be, is far more entertaining, so thanks for that at least.

Why are they still looking at it?

But DeSantis is fumbling this. He needs to say either he got it or didn't get it. He sounds like a coward. There is a third option which is called, “None of your F’ing business.”

Exactly. All this is for is to sow dissention. And so many Freepers just bite down hard on it.

Trump has been a disappointment with his RINO appointments at the highest levels of goverment -- all the three-lettered agency heads and SCOTUS (except for Gorsuch). And this talking up the vaxx just at the time when the lamestream press can no longer hide the deaths it's causing makes absolutely no sense to me. I'm also very let down about how the Jan. 6th protestors have been utterly abandoned to crooked Democrat kangaroo courts. Only MTG seems to care about how they are being treated.
I'm afraid for Trump to run in 2024, because that means we only have the 2022 Midterms to get rid of the RINO-traitors who gave the Steal to the Vegetable, and frankly that's going to leave too many of them in place to oversee the 2024 election. If Trump is the nominee, the RINOs will let the Rats steal it again.
I would prefer to see Trump concentrate his efforts on the RINO purge and make whirlwind endorsement tours of conservative challengers this year and in 2024.
DeSantis is the only one I like out of the current selection of possible presidential candidates. I hope he doesn't disappoint.
To: dynoman
I like Trump a lot but frankly if I had to pick between the two I’d opt for DeSantis as would my wife.
Trump has always had a tendency to step on his own d!ck just to shove it in the other guys face. One of his endearing qualities in my book, but their are times when it does more harm than good.
DeSantis has done a wonderful job in Florida and there just aren’t many of his beliefs I don’t agree with. Bottom line, I’d be happy with either but nobody else.
To: Chickensoup
Trump didn’t live up to expectations either.
No politician ever will. The best we can hope for is someone who won't disappoint too much and will get some things done that we want. Trump did that for me, and I believe DeSantis would as well.

I am becoming a non fan of DJT. He needs to check his ego.
To: stanne
Why are they still looking at it? Because they were asked to. It will go back to the lower courts.
The USSC had not mandated or upheld Biden’s mandate on the vaccine.

If I were to post DeSantis’ biographical profile here without saying whose information it contained, I'd say anyone who looks at it objectively is likely to draw two conclusions that are very much related to each other:
1. You'd swear the guy had spent his entire adult life getting groomed to be a “Deep State” political figure.
2. If I didn’t mention his political party affiliation, you might think I was describing Pete Butt-Fudge or whatever that loser’s name is.

They did not send it back. They have not come up with an answer yet. Many think the SC will uphold mandates from OSHA for health care workers.
