It sure seems that rap draws a pretty rough crowd. How much violence have we ever heard about at a Barry Manilow concert, or a classical music concert, as compared to rap events?

Not if a) no one dies and b) it’s a rap concert, drawing too much attention to the demographic tendencies.

C) likely it is not a “mass” incident, as this is par for the course per b) which usually involves careless and bad shooting anyway, leading to shooting of totally innocent bystanders.

The last rap concert shooting that I heard about in Eugene was reported in the paper(Reg-Guard?) and listed the bullet holes that were found in nearby buildings. I think it was the sixth paragraph where they got around to mentioning that a couple of people had been hit.
