Once again...freaking tone deaf elitists.
How about saying some like "I am concerned about the reports of the treatment of some of the accused, and in particular how it compares to how leftists rioters have been treated in the country. I think that is definitely something that must be examined, and all appropriate actions taken on a case by case basis.
For that reason, I do not personally support a blanket amnesty or pardon policy, and would look at each case individually instead."
Make the same point but without playing into the damn leftist narrative.

These people are coming out of the wood work criticizing Trump over a pardon, but for some reason cannot criticize the Federal government for violating the Constitution by keeping these people in prison without formal charges.

Good on Trump. The Jan 6th narrative and investigation is a Stalinist fraud to cover up the election steal.
Free the Jan 6th political prisoners!

Okay, fine. Maybe he can start and promote a fundraising site to bail them out of jail a la Heels Up Harris and co.

Agreed, this is what Trump should have said, but he constantly shoots himself in the foot.

Did you watch the rally? That is essentially what Trump did say.
To: Husker24
Maybe that’s what Trump should have said, but Sununu coming out and saying what he did doesn’t help matters either. Trump is who he is, which is not a professional politician. Sununu is, and should do a better job of crafting what he says. Because as it is, he just gave the left another soundbite.

...but for some reason cannot criticize the Federal government for violating the Constitution by keeping these people in prison without formal charges. Every one of them has been charged with multiple counts.

"Of course not, oh, my goodness, no," Sununu said……as he clutched his pearls and called for his smelling salts.

It makes it so easy when RINO’S self-out themselves.
Asa Hutchinson did a similar outing the other day.

A very cagey and politically astute move by Guv Shanana.
Now when he runs for re-election he can expect CNN's endorsement instead of being called a right-wing extremist who is worse than Hitler.
Anyone care to bet me on this? Come on. I dare ya. I double dog dare ya.

"Of course not, oh, my goodness, no," Sununu said on CNN's "State of the Union" when asked if the rioters who were part of the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol should be pardoned.
Presidential pardons are not something Sununu will ever have a voice in deciding. Stay in your lane, RINO.
