Question. If the mayor of Ottawa under the Emergency Order can seize private trucks for almost any reason and then sell the trucks, keeping those funds, why would any trucker risk driving into Ottawa? Maybe the trucker is delivering Alcohol which today the mayor has a problem with, so seize the truck! Maybe the trucker is delivering meat products which today the mayor thinks we should not eat meat, seize the truck!

So as a trucker I would think about not accepting any shipments into or out of Ottawa.

We’ll see if the tsa/dhs starts doing random highway stops and safety checks then red flagging a lot of rigs for unsafe operating condition.
