G.W. Bush is no longer my favorite person (understatement). Yet I still think Hussein, that would be Saddam not Barack, had it coming.

President Trump loves and our country and is extremely competent. Obama does not love our country and was competent in its destruction. Biden is totally incompetent and is a bully. As a bully he “gets tough” against U.S. citizens but never against the enemies of America.

Democrats are anti U.S. energy. Driving down US energy production and exports only helps those with oil such as OPEC and Russia.

Bush and Biden are on the same team.

Most of Washington are on the same team and it is not the American team!

Dusting off the old DNC talking points for this piece of propaganda.

So it’s BUSH’S FAULT Biden is so inept and incompetent. It’s BUSH’S FAULT Biden cancelled and blocked U.S. oil and gas production and approved Putin’s.

"Bush himself could not get the CIA to agree that a phony document alleging Iraqi purchases of uranium from Niger was legitimate, so he sourced it to British intelligence. The document was a fraud. Bush and company were lying to get the war they wanted."

Nice revisionist history. From FACTCHECK: https://www.factcheck.org/2004/07/bushs-16-words-on-iraq-uranium/ Both the US and British investigations make clear that some forged Italian documents, exposed as fakes soon after Bush spoke, were not the basis for the British intelligence Bush cited, or the CIA’s conclusion that Iraq was trying to get uranium.

Yep.

Damn this POS!

I foolishly supported and worked hard as a campaign coordinator (paid occasionally), and even caught, held and testified in court against 2 sets of 4 X 8 sign vandals for this bastard.

I have a hard time reconciling those lost units of life’s energy especially when the bastard opens his pie hole. I pray he takes your advice.

Maybe it would have made a difference at the margins if Ukraine’s leader Volodymyr Zelensky had trusted the US intelligence and had swung into action to harden his military defenses.

Russia was building up its military forces at their border. He didn't need "US intelligence" to know that was happening.

Clueless this author is.

Of course Zelensky knew. He was upset because he knew by Biden publicly proclaiming Putin would invade, it essentially was asking Putin to do it, since now if Putin didn't invade, he would be perceived as being weak. That's why the Ukrainians were telling Biden to STFU.

Well that decision by Biden was obviously caused by Bush (and probably also Trump). Biden therefore is not responsible for his own decisions...according to the logic of this article.

Oh I agree it's a pitiful attempt to deflect blame from Biden.

Post-911 I fell for Bush on supporting the Iraq war.

I agree that it has turned out to be a disaster. But I don’t think it has anything to do with why Putin is emboldened today. I think Putin knows Biden’s weakness makes this the perfect time to do what he wants.

China will be next.

When 911 happened, I hoped, suggested, and expected Bush to use his political capital to step up enforcement of the southern border. He could have built the wall. He didn’t because he apparently had no interest in immigration enforcement.

Porous borders are FAR more risky to American safety than people like Saddam. In fact, porous borders give people like Saddam an opportunity to attack.

Bush used 911 as a pretext for Iraq. The world is not safer. Many American lives were lost or severely damaged. Christians in the middle east have been slaughtered because we empowered Islamic radicals to do so.

And even more so when Obama took over, with Hillary at the State Department. Probably a lot of illegal weapons running to the bad guys from that administration.

Bush got the Patriot Act. Another example of the stupidity of creating something that will be coopted by the left, especially when they have embedded themselves into all facets of society and institutions of power.

But again, after saying all that, Putin is not Bush’s fault.

The Democrats can’t stop Putin, and they don’t care to. The only thing they care about is political posturing and trying to figure out how to use whatever the next crisis is to their political advantage. There will never be any sense of remorse or self-reflection on their part.

It is very clear that the left is FAR more concerned with losing elections than they ever were about national security or American lives.

Biden basically dared Putin to invade.

The Ukrainians were telling Biden to STFU, by he kept saying Putin would invade. To the point now where Putin was in a corner, if he didn’t invade, he would be perceived as being weak.

I think Putin was probably on the fence as to whether or not to go full-blown invasion as opposed to just securing Luhansk and Donbass.

I think Biden basically pushed Putin over the edge to do the full-blown invasion, because Biden expected Putin to wimp out, and Joe could say he stared down “Corn Popov”!

The Bush (daddy Bush) Plan for North Mexico (aka USA) has been the highest priority of BOTH parties for 30 years.

They knew we would never vote to give up our sovereignty and subsume our country to the New World Order, so they set about importing people who would.

Regardless of what anyone thinks of Bush and Iraq, it was Obama that effed it all away.

Bingo! Stabilizing Iraq was a just a matter of time. The kids (many of the males and most of the females) loved us and all things American. We should have made it a duty station just as we did with Japan and Germany after WWII.

As it was, towards the end, Bush didn't challenge his State Dept or the elected officials who preferred an R failure in Iraq.

Then, as you say, Obama finished the effort consistent with his anti-MAGA agenda.
