I think she’s a woman with a brilliant imagination, a very good writer, and someone who has done and is still doing a lot of good work in the world by fighting against the notion that ‘sex’ isn’t really based on DNA. (Not to mention all of the good she’s done in leading young people to understand the joys of reading.)
If your problem is ‘magic’, then you are also going to have to reject a whole lot of the great works of world literature, some of them extremely old and highly revered.
She was very much on board with the gay agenda. Well what do you think led to all this?
It isn't a very nice answer, but by adopting a tactic the left has used for some time, freeze and isolate the target (Alinsky), and crush that individual ruthlessly. Winning an engagement won't be enough, that individual must be hounded afterward and his or her life ruined by any means necessary and as publicly as possible. Activists are, mainly, terrorists and bullies, or rather a self-supporting network of bullies swift to come to one another's defense in order to keep the game going and minimize the cost of their aggression. And until there is at least a possibility of that cost being insuperable it will continue.
That requires a certain vindictiveness that is difficult to muster among people who truly believe in forgiveness and reconciliation, which the current Left activists most certainly do not - they want us dead and are not in the least reluctant to say so. You don't fight that sort of individual with half measures. All IMHO and regretfully posted, but I think it's the case.

You seem to be conflating homosexuality with ‘transgenderism’. I’ve known many ‘gay’ people who are simply NOT on board with the latter.
Accepting the fact that some people are homosexual is not the same as being brainwashed into believing that men can be women, and vice-versa.
Homosexualist individuals have been with us and a fact of life throughout human history. But this notion that a man can just ‘identify’ as a woman and thereby BE a woman is completely false and barely dry from its hatching.
I applaud Rowling for standing up for truth in the way that she has done. (And I’m glad that her genius has made her wealthy enough to just speak her mind and tell her silly critics to get lost.)
But did she think it would just stop there? We knew acceptance of gays would open a Pandora's Box to a bunch of crazy stuff like we're seeing now, you had to be completely naïve not to see it.
It’s kind of funny in one way, not so much in others. I am completely convinced that the LGB folks are rueing the day they ever decided to link up with the T folks.
Cultures all over the world, for thousands of years, have recognized and accepted the fact that ‘gay’ people exist. Some cultures have even given them their own special positions within their societies.
It was not until very recently that anyone, anywhere, suggested that there was no reality (except in extremely rare, medically provable instances) to the clear biological sexual dichotomy of male/female. And that is what Rowling is arguing.
Point taken. But it has never been so much the argument that gay and straight are on equal terms, and that gays should be able to marry, and even worse, raise children, and they certainly should never have gotten the influence over society that they have now.

The REALquestion for me,amidst this relentless cancel culture in all of its rancid judgments and moral take-downs, is just exactlY WHO is making these charges??Across the board they seem to emanate not from any individual spokesman or even any official or semi-official INTEREST group, whether the subject is distinctly “race”-based or LGBTQ or trans based. No spokesmen, no arguments ever transpire in the public square-—the charge is made, and dutifully reported by the MSM, then the cancelled one usually has to retract or recede or apologize.....to WHO???To what abstract entity funded by WHO??? Only a very few ever decide to say “Screw You!” I have nothing to apologize about or for!” Aaron Rogers was one, and it was over the vaccine mandate IIRC.

As far as actual blacks in LOTR, they do exist in Middle Earth, in the land called Far Harad, south of Gondor and Harad and corresponding to Africa. But that’s not diverse enough for some. Actually there are some who have alluded that orcs represent blacks, and therefore Tolkien was racist, but is just plain false. Tolkien never really settled on an origin for the orcs, but in The Silmarilian they are described as corrupted elves.
