Eisenhower had nothing to do with the A bombs, nor did MacArthur (who was the supreme allied commander in the Pacific, not Ike). The President himself ordered it done and no general’s opinion mattered after that.
But was Dresden bad? Yes. Does it compare to Hitler murdering 12 million civilians in cold blood and attempting genicide? I have no problem saying which side was the good side in that war.
When Putin vacates Kyiv, then the Ukrainians can surrender. Otherwise you are the same person advocating the UK to surrender to the Nazis in 1940....
The thing is, the Ukrainians will lose in a straight fight. Do they surrender or do they go down fighting? They’ve chosen the latter option
