And of course when these students graduate and enter the real world they won't know how deal with competition.

They’ve been trying to get rid of honor rolls and valedictorians for decades. In the 80’s in my tiny hometown on the western slope they hired a superintendent who got rid of the honor roll. The school district got rid of the superintendent at first opportunity.
That was then, before woke-ism.
