There are several videos on YouTube on how to remove alcohol from gasoline. Thats what I do for my small engines.

Let’s think about this lunacy for a second. We are burning corn:
- which took energy from oil to produce and transport

- at a time when the world is going to go through a food shortage

- and we are simultaneously banning drilling and fracking for oil and gas, leaning on banks not to lend to oil companies and trying to impose costly environmental legislation on oil and gas production after killing the Keystone XL pipeline which would have delivered about 1 million barrels per day from Canada.

So we will have less food which we could have used or sold for a profit and less oil and gas which we could have used or sold for a profit......we could have used that oil and gas to sell to the Europeans who are finally getting away from dependence on Russia and who are looking for oil/gas to import.

In what world does any of this make any sense at all?

Excellent point. I forgot to even mention the use of fertilizer which we are short of.

I always remember the horrors of great depression, when they actually burned grains in railroad engines, while people were starving.
Here we, instead, burn corn in cars.

I use E0, 90 octane in my small engines.
Found a McDonalds/Amoco station near me that has a pump delivering it.
About .75-1.00 more/gal. but I don’t use that much to be concerned.
Add a stabilizer also.

You can buy ethanol free gas, you have to travel to a special pump to get it

Ethanol burns at a faster rate and at a cooler rate so you will use more than gasoline you end up paying more in the long run even if price per gallon is cheaper.

Building back better in action

This E15 all summer long is something you better not put in your small engines unless you want to pay big repair bills. These are good for larger engines, but it is death for small engines

Particularly bad for 2 cycle engines.
