“She let down her team, she robbed someone else the chance to compete.”

Thats the crucial thing. Above all, this sort of event requires personal honor, which some like to call “sportsmanship”. Its not just about the personal success of the athlete, or her “feelings”.

She was one of Larry Nassar’s victims.
Any girl coached by Larry Nassar was sexually abused by him.

“Sugar Ray quit at the top.”

You are clueless when it comes to boxing.

He stopped coaching in 2016.

I’m certainly not here to downplay any sexual abuse of her.

Six years later with her still on the team, it’s hard for
me to discern why this is even brought up. Look, she may
not be over it, but if it is causing a lot of turmoil for
her, she should leave the sport rather than go to the
Olympics, but then refuse to pull the trigger.

I’m not sure that happened here, so if not folks should
disregard my mention.

I only wish the girl well, but there is a team and the
team needs to know it’s players are ready to participate
if they spend the funds to train and transport.

I agree. She did her duty for as long as she could do it.
It’s time for her to move on.

Considering her state of mental health was likely bought on by pedophilia, is the left applauding because their tactics actually work? If they were able to crush an outstanding gymnast, just think what hey can do to an average school child.

“Simone Biles has become nearly as famous for the Olympic events she quit as the ones she won, and now she is doubling down, saying that walking away last year was her “biggest win” yet”

I think your Olympic Teammates and the last girl not to make the Olympics because a weak minded surrender monkey like you kept her off the team has a say in your “poor old me” money grab.

Genius....even when quitting in humiliating circumstances....she calls herself a winner...

Someone get the kid a participation trophy, and let Simone argue with the gold medalist, that Biles actually won, because black quitters matter!

Pathetic... she needs a deep and ferocious public shaming.

Stolen honor Biles!!!!

She could grow up to be another Carl Mahakian.
(Brady Bunch joke)

Hey I quit my Olympic fantasies when I was about 13. Can I get a medal?

No, smartass. When Sugar Ray first retired in 82 he was the unified title champ. That’s called going out on top.

What do you think?, Simone
Biles
was really not in shape for the competition and decided not to compete so as not to be humiliated, will that be her biggest victory?

You honestly never heard of Sugar Ray Robinson?

Completely indoctrinated by the modern crap media.

Pathetic.

I’m not referring to Robinson but Leonard. You seem to be the lost one.

In his last fight your pale imitation of the real Sugar Ray was knocked out in five rounds by a bloated Hector Camacho.

What an example of going out on top.

Are you dense??? Can you read English? Please have a friend explain what this text means:

Ray Leonard retired in 1997 after he was knocked out by Hector Comacho.

Ray Leonard was a joke as compared with real Sugar Ray-—Sugar Ray Robinson.

If you want boxers who reired on top—Rocky Marciano and Gene Tunney are good examples.

Of course as a disciple of the modern crap media you never heard of them.

Good God are you dense! How many times do I have to say I am referring to Leonard’s first retirement announcement in 82.
