I’ve seen these rumors about Putin’s health for some time now. I never saw any actual evidence of it before, but these pictures sure do strike one as a man in clear distress and poor health.
He truly looks bad. The “pinched” look on his face, the bloat, and the hand gripping the table are not “normal” for most people. Nobody holds onto a table like that while sitting.
It certainly could partially explain his recent “irrational” behavior.
He’s not only tapping his foot, he’s flexing his leg as if he’s in pain. At one point, he grips the table with both hands. Which suggests to me he’s suffering from vertigo and feels like he’s going to fall over and is hanging on for dear life. The foot tapping is weird. I’d say he’s in intense pain and can’t wait to get up and out of there.
