It would send a troubling signal about the overall political health of the Western world.”As though the Western world were not in an advanced state of decadence--which is an almost moribund condition of political health!
What the world needs most is a political earthquake, one that would shake the sickness out of Western Civilization and return it to ascendancy.
Returning Trump to the Presidency might be just the earthquake needed.

Le Pen is a populist agitator who, in the style of former President Donald Trump, scorns European Union “globalists,” criticizes NATO and views President Vladimir Putin of Russia as an ally. Sometimes I forget how much the New York Times sucks... This piece is a nice reminder.
