I agree. Everyone ignores the 14,000 deaths in eastern Ukraine over 8 years at the hands of Azov and other nationalist militias. Most of the deaths were of civilians and over 250 were children, FFS. Their wish for independence from Ukraine has also been ignored by the West. We fought for Kosovo when Albania dismissed their vote for independence. Why have we abandoned the ppl in the Donbass if we’re supposed to be the “champions of freedom” in the world?

If anyone wants to know what’s been happening in Ukraine, leading up to the current situation, these documentaries and one article are very informative. So many on FR seem to know not a damn thing about Ukraine. There was a live thread here during the Euro-Maidan protests and I learned a lot. These videos tell even more of the story.
I hope that others on this thread inform themselves instead of parroting like robots about evil Putin invading holy Ukraine.

Provide kindly, then, your news sources for front line news for the war, and their correspondents in places like Kyiv, or also on the ground in Khirkov, Kherson, and other places? Who would be an alternative news source for the most up-to-date activities of the Ukrainian Army and Russian Army, and situation with respect to civilians? In other words, if you do not even trust Japanese reporters from NHK or even the very conservative right side Sankei News or its component, Fuji TV, that that are there embedded with regular reports, who could be trusted that is in theater?
I am just trying to understand your sources and methodology to get to the truth.
