When I worked in Funeral Service, I looked at a couple hundred death certificates. NOT ONCE was 'guns' EVER listed as a 'cause of death.

In the suicide, the cause of death was 'severe brain damage; CVA', NOT 'guns'.

The accidental shooting, the cause of death was 'upper thoracic damage, cardiopulmonary'. Something like that, NOT 'gun'.

I buried a girl I went to high school with. Didn't know her very well; She died at age 19 in a car accident. Her death certificate didn't list 'car' as a cause of death. It was 'internal injuries'.

Exactly- they used to consider children between ages of 1-14 when figuring out deaths, and water and car accidents and other issues were the top- now they include 15-19 year olds which includes gang bangers just so they can get their stats up for ‘children’
