The Times probably stands to benefit from a cut of the $33 billion Biden wants "for Ukraine" -- after he and his pals get their share first, of course.

The LAAP-dog media is in overdrive spamming the country with Trump agitprop.
This is all about the upcoming mid-term elections. They are trying to gaslight Republican candidates into distancing themselves from President Trump in order to drive a wedge between Trump and the incoming class of Republicans.
They want to break his base before 2024.

Sounds like they are all expecting Trump to run in 2024 and they are doing all they can to stop the inevitable.

Business insider [leftwing rag] :
Trump was not keen on the protests surrounding Floyd's death, and in a phone call with governors stressed that they needed to display a show of force against the activism that was increasingly becoming a part of the national conversation, according to a forthcoming book by New York Times reporters Jonathan Martin and Alexander Burns.

In the aftermath of George Floyd's death while in Minneapolis police custody in May 2020, millions of Americans took to the streets to protest the manner in which he was killed... Funny, I don't recall the left rioting over chronic drug abuse.

Paul LePage for Maine governor in 2022!
I can’t wait to vote for him....for the third time (2010 was the first and 2014 was the second).

Of course President Trump complained.
These “protestors” were looting and burning businesses, hurting innocent citizens, assaulting police officers, etc.
President Trump was right.

I give phone-callers a
lot of slack...
You never know what they might be contending with on their side.
In the case of Bill Clinton, for instance, he might be getting his "weasel greased" during an important teleconference.
