Somehow I think that bubble that he’s living in it’s gonna be popped in a big way very soon.

Manchin and Sinema said no to eliminating the filibuster even for this bill.

If Manchin and Sinema hold then it’s McConnell’s call. He can pressure the Rino’s to join up any time he wants.

It’s coming.
Isaiah 63:1-6 is what Jesus is gonna do.
That, and Revelation 19:11 and following.
Forbearance has and end.
After that there’s no escape.

FWIW, I’d FAR rather be “on the wrong side of history” than be on the wrong side of the future.

I WOULD LOVE TO SEE THAT HYPOCRITE, CASEY FROM PA, VOTE.

What a quandary for him.

He pretends he is pro life, let’s see what he does along with the three stooges, Romney, Collins, Markosky, when they shed their true feelings about killing babies.

if USSC says its a state issue how can FEDGOV codify without a constitutional amendment?

The draft decision does not specifically call it a state issue. Nothing in it prevents actions at the federal level to ban abortion, and Cruz, Hawley, and other senators are talking about introducing legislation to do so and ending the filibuster if necessary to get it passed.

If this is constitutional, then so is DOMA.

If Roe can be overturned there is no reason why Obergfell can't be as well.

It only takes 51 votes to eliminate the filibuster.

Then, they could vote it back in place after passing an abortion rights law.

Then, beginning in January 2025, the Republicans could do the same trick to remove the law.

It was the SC that codified gay marriage for all the gay and lezbian lawyers out there. Gay marriage hookups would never have passed Congress, nor will this Chuckie Schumer rubbish. This is Chuckie catering to the @metoo nutjobs for more campaign donations.

Schumer doesn’t have the 51 votes.

Can these women still get abortions despite the SCOTUSs decision? Of course. Some will just need to get a job at Amazon and cross state borders to do so.
