All the real Africans I know speak English - and for some it was their first language even when they lived at home in Africa. They all have a native language as well, many of which I’ve never heard of! Maybe the college can start teaching Twi or Krio.

Swahili is a common language. Several Kenyans I know speak their tribal language, English, and Swahili. It is spoken in Kenya, Tanzania, Comoros, Mayotte, Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, eastern Congo, Bajuni Islands (Somalia), northern Mozambique, Zambia, Malawi, and Madagascar.
