Disband NATO. Station only US troops in Eastern Europe-the single ones. Make Europe and Russia pay 100% of the costs. In the meantime our young men(and women) can bring back European spouses with them. Watch how many of these women gravitate towards those installations, especially the Russian ones. We need them more than we need fence hoppers.

Do I need more excuses to reconsider my support for this man back in the day?

Georgie, you stood up with the Surge, but you shouldn’t have had to in the first place.

I’m trying to think of anything else I support that he did. Hmm, not Roberts, not the border, not the Fed, not ... oh, wait, Alito. Got that.

Yep, and the side who loses a war doesn’t get to dictate terms to the victors.

Remember when Clinton signed the Kyoto protocols, refused to submit it to the Senate, and we all said it was invalid because of that? Remember when Obama did the same thing with the Paris Accords, and we all said it was invalid unless ratified by the Senate?

Both U.S. citizens and every other country in the world knows that if you want a binding Agreement with the U.S. that lasts beyond the policy of the current Administration, you must get it in writing, and preferably ratified as a treaty by the Senate. Knowing that, the Soviets asked the U.S. to do that back then, and we refused. So the Soviets knew, right from the very start, that the U.S. refused to bind itself to never letting letting those countries join NATO. If we actually intended to enter into a binding agreement, we would have reduced it to writing and ratified it as a treaty.

This whole idea that we somehow brok a binding agreement with the Russians by letting other nations join NATO is absurd. The idea that a private verbal promise made by a Secretary of State four decades ago, that we refused to put in writing, should somehow bind this country in perpetuity is absurd. In any other context, everyone here would be mocking that claim out of existence. It's a ridiculous argument being made by Russia and some sycophants here in the United States who have decided that their loyalties now lie with Russia.

NATO and Xiden told Ukraine that they were NOT going to be admitted, but Creepy Uncle Joe told Ukraine to keep up the appearance that they were seeking to get in.
Why?
That said, this invasion has little to do with that.
Putin saw xiden as weak and senile, especially after the Afghan disaster.
He was always going to invade and the time was ripe.
He wanted territory, resources (especially gas) and the ports.

They may have had the right to change their minds, it doesn’t mean they should have.

Putin and Obama promised that Putin could have Ukraine back when Obama was president. Biden only pretends to be against it.

Yes, but his military is terrible, and his population is declining.

The fact that he is 75 doesnโ€™t change the fact that he is a seditious, neocon War Criminal.

Bush is 75.

My President is VERY sharp at 75, pushing 76, and my mother was very sharp at 85.

Maybe all the years that the chimp was mute affected his cognition.

I tried to look at Joe Biden's age on Wikipedia, but his biographical entry was "not found". I was able to locate it on Wikipedo-ia...

At 75 not everyone is with it.

The smirking chimp is not brilliant like he thinks he is...

His wars damaged the US economy enough to get Obama into office for 8 years. Terrible President, though not as bad as Obama.

I agree that “verbal” agreements mean nothing.

The Russians had no way of preventing NATO expansion anyway and I don’t think we were trying to get Russians united to oppose us immediately after the Soviet Union dissolved . So we told them whatever they wanted to hear and have plausible deniability because it was never written down.

We were worried about the Ukrainian nukes and how a destabilized Russia would affect the region. So tell the Russians anything they want.

We got rid of Russian allies and have continued to pick at them and basically told the Russians to “suck it, pal. What are you gonna do?”. Well, Putin has no problem killing people and his own troops... so here we are.

The thing about this entire situation is that it is so dangerous to the US and the entire world.

Every idiot that is championing the Ukrainians, needs to realize that their entire country is being leveled and 40-50% of the population is being displaced or killed. Their “leader” that we appointed, is being deified and could care less about the civilians and his country.

Moldova is next, Poland and the Baltics after that.... Finland will be nuked tactically and then the entire world will get to see how a lunatic over reacts when he has been cornered and has nuclear weapons. Actually they’ll probably have to go all in attacking Poland/Baltics/Finland (now) at the same time since they’ll have no way to attack along that broad of a front with conventional weapons. The Ukrainians have shown them how limited ground forces are without air support, communications and logistics.

As for the “kill” or “replace” Putin crowd......... he’s probably on the way out... maybe.

What type of man is going to replace him? KGB or military? What type of apex predator, sociopath is slick enough to survive that snake pit of Russian power politics?

I don’t think a single person has thought about what will happen if Russia “dissolves”.

You’ll have 180 million people looking for a strong man to “defend” Russia over 18 time zones, nuclear weapons, poor impulse control and pissed off at the entire world. .... These clowns at the state department, RINOs, democrats, deep state and globalists are going to get their great “reset”. I hope they read up on what happened after the French Revolution to those in power and those that overthrew those in power.

I just hope to survive long enough for the schadenfreude of what is going to happen to them.

We keep going over this because you won’t shut up and stop your neocon nonsense.

Audio records recently released, thar WION has reported on, shows a verbal agreement was reached.

And lying NATO took advantage of the collapse, and here we are.

I cannot disagree with anything he says here.

Trump tried to end the NATO charade. I wish he had succeeded.

โ€œI felt that Ukraine needed to be in the EU and NATOโ€, he added.

Bush really is dumb. He could have gotten away with blaming all that on Clinton and Biden. But, he's proud of a strategy that is all but destroying Ukraine.

Globalists of a feather flock together.
