Uvalde School District has its own police force and chief (who was in charge that day), Pete Arredondo.
In the Stoneman Douglas school shooting there were police officers on site and they ran away. In the Buffalo store shooting an armed security guard ran towards the shooter with a pistol and was shot and killed by him with a rifle. In Uvalde literally dozens of trained and experienced police officers stood around and listened as children were shot because they were afraid they were outgunned. All these were experienced and trained professionals. And you think the solution is expecting Lunch Lady Debbie and School Nurse Betty to grab their Glocks and run towards the shooter and blaze away at him till he's dead? Really?
Police ran away. Like you said dozens of trained cops ran away because they thought they were out gunned. Ok they knew it was 1 person with a semi automatic rifle and the dozens of cops with likely more than 1 gun on them thought they were out gunned and scared. A border guard getting a hair cut down the street went in with a shot gun he borrowed from the barber and put the murderer down by himself. While the cops stood there quaking.
There are a bunch of instances where a armed civilian put a end to a potential mass murder because they did not want to die or see people die. Those stories don’t make the news do they. So yeah the lunch lady can carry if she is trained in gun safety.

Actually he just went to the school to parts away from the shooter and got his wife and kids out. The shooter was shot later by other officers.

And be the first line of defense? Why not just get rid of the police and let her take care of the rest of the town as well? You seem to have more faith in her abilities than the police have shown recently.

Who said it the lunch lady has to be the first line. It should start at the doors going in. Maybe that door should have been locked. I want to know if that was the only door left unlocked. How many entrances was there. Kind of strange if that was the only door left unlocked. Just so happened to be the one he ran to. And I haven’t heard he went in and got his kids and left. I heard he shot him and was shot at and bullet hit his hat. I heard a lady jumped a fence and went in and got her kids. Hearing a lot of things. Whats true. We may not ever know.
Bingo. Soft targets. There was a church shooting where a armed man pulled a shot gun and was going to shoot people and a armed church goer pulled his concealed and one shot split his wig and dropped him. They like churches and schools and anywhere they think people have no guns and won’t shoot at them. Cowards.

I hear you’re near Sheriff Grady Judd (we shot him 182 times because we ran out of bullets). He armed teachers, staff and lunch ladies after Parkland. Have you heard of any school shootings since then in his jurisdiction? Yeah, didn’t think so. By the way dung doogle is a troll.
Figured he was trolling. Yep Grady don’t play no games. He said if someone breaks in your house to blow them out the door. Watch his videos after he does a sex offender sting. It’s hilarious. This is one of the best counties to live in in Florida. Grady and DeSantis is a great combo. Florida is one of if not the best state right now to live in.

Too bad they weren't on that campus that day. Armed teachers and staff would have been.
