Cowardly Rs in our state house were trying to blow our advantage. Drew a map that wouldn’t cause them to be called names by Democrats.

Ronstepped in, called them back, said “No more BS—pass MY map!”

And they did.

I remember years ago that the Democrats in Florida drew a district than ran for 100 miles along a railroad track, widening out here and there to include a house or three of registered Democrats, but skipping Republican houses.

They wanted, and got, a district they were sure to win.
