Mention here ‘left over women’ - women over 30 who are not married. No male will accept them because the male’s family will not.
Now that situation that would have worked in long ago times (war) is no longer a possible outlet for too many people. Now families depend on the financial support of the males, absent that and the family becomes homeless, destitute.
After the trials of repeated pointless lockdowns country wide, the people are not going to tolerate losing their male children to a pointless war.
It is happening to our young people here in the US, so they just focus inwards; many could care less about anything outside their bubble.
Those same women become very undesirable when they reach a certain age (35?); that is when they become “leftover women”.

Try 27 in China. The Wall is 30 in the US but the Chinese are even stricter about it.

Send them on a mission as cannon fodder to “denazify” some Russian land. Its ok, as Kazan, said, “borders change all the time” ;)
That attitude is happening here. Explains a lot of the killings. People with no values to begin with decide to do something about grievances...so what, there’s no hope anyway. Very dangerous times in which we live, to say the least.
If working hard won't get you a promotion because the government directs companies to hire people whose only qualification is the color of their skin or type of genitalia, why bother?
You work hard to buy a house only to have government take your tax money and give it to Section 8 neighbors.
You work hard to pay for government-aided illegal aliens.
You work hard only to have the government print more and more money to devalue what you have and rob your future.
When government employees take your tax money and use it against you, your rights, and your religion, why support them?

It’s not any different. The scribbler is trying to be clever by renaming the “lie flat” movement.
The Chinese are unlikely to try that given the outcome of the decades long Sino-Soviet border wars. They also don’t want to cut their own throats on oil and some military tech (which they both get from Russia).

It isn’t about “the wall” in terms of appearance; it is very specifically about bearing children.
All the issues are tied together.
1. They’re not as physically attractive as when they were younger
2. you have much less choice in terms of when you will have kids, how many, what the chances are of miscarriages and birth defects, etc etc.
3. If you knew her in her 20s and she thought you not good enough, how can you possibly think that in her mind she is doing anything other than settling if she warms up to you in her 30s? Are you prepared to accept being settled for....being the schlub who just happened to be available when she ran out of other options? Don’t you have any self respect? How committed is she really going to be considering she didn’t really want to be with you in the first place?
For all of the above 20s, not 30s.
