careful there, that’s the slippery slope. Only people have rights. We sovereign people grant governments limited authority to exercise power.
But it is a reasonable conclusion that, if we don’t trust people after the sentence is served, the sentence was pointless. If the person is considered irredeemable, then we should just put them to death instead of making them slaves or second-class citizens. If it’s not acceptable to put them down, send them to Heinlein’s Coventry rather than make them second-class citizens re-integrating with society. It undermines free society to try to integrate felons with second-class rights.

My favorite thing is when people copy a block of text from an online article and neglect to edit out the embedded links for ads or other articles.

Being in Arizona now I’ve heard it said that Yavapai
County is a Sanctuary county for 2nd Amendment.
Is that more or less meaningless or are there any real benefits other than warm and Fuzzy
