Gotta heat and power the mansion. Propane is a lot less expensive than fuel oil.

propane is a renewable energy source and therefore qualifies as ‘green’

as for why 0failure installed such a large tank... they’re preparing to have a problem with supplies

I have a 500 gal LP tank to run furnace, water heaters, and whole-house generator. When we had the big freeze down here in Texas and the power was knocked out it was big enough to run everything for a week or so. In normal winter months a tank lasts 1 to 2 months. A 2500 gal would be overkill here, but up north it probably makes sense for a large house.

Having dedicated his life to the downfall of America, he foresees it coming to fruition. What he fails to understand is the backlash, which will be breathtaking.

The underground installation of that tank is very safe. They get an excellent price break on that quantity of propane (2,000 gallons - 80% of tank capacity is all it will take due to gas expansion) and they’re probably not paying for the propane anyway. It will run a generator which will power the entire property if the electricity goes out. Cooking with propane is superior to electricity. The tank & installation cost in the neighborhood of $10,000 + tax or probably a little more. Only a very wealthy person could set up such an installation.

The size of his house and any generator system that wouldn’t last a week.

You're wrong. The heat alone will take maximum 1 gallon per hour on a regular home, maybe 2 gallons per hour on a big home. Do the math.

I doubt he is worried. He has Federal protection for life and lives on an island that could be protected from air or sea ingress by said fedgov. If you think fedzilla would not use fighter jets, drones and troops / alphabet agency’s to protect a former POTUS you are delusional.

Obamas are hoarding propane for their bugout house, for when the shyte hits the fan. The shyte they were in instrumental in creating.

With that large tank of propane you can hole up for a year. Next we’ll hear they are building a fallout shelter and buying AR-15s. That Mooch was seen at the local gun range.

I have a 1,000 gallon tank of propane for reserve, but hooked the 38 kw generator to natural gas. Will convert as necessary.

To run a generator. Apparently he has electric service, but not gas. Power goes out and without gas your in the dark.

“I saw a Big propane truck get on a ferry boat, anyone was nuts to ride on the same ferry.”

Why? Propane is extremely safe.

Just because you’ve seen James Bond shoot a rifle and ‘blow-up’ a propane tank doesn’t mean it’s real.

The Mythbusters did a segment using multiple calibers shooting into a propane tank — they even used tracer rounds. The gas merely escaped rapidly from the tank and there was no fire or explosion no matter how many times they tried.

You don’t have to run the entire house.

There is a big natural gas pipeline running through my fields, not far from my house. Since it was on my property, they asked me if I wanted to hook onto it. I’ve always used propane.... but it’s good to have the choice.

“An average house with propane heat, water heater, and stove would use a bit under 2,000 gal per year.”

We use a bit less than 1,000 gallons a year here in SW Montana for heating, water and stove. It’s a small home that is well insulated and has large windows on the South for solar gain. On a sunny below zero day if we put up the blinds the interior will reach well over 80 F by midday.

Not that the Oduchebag home is as well designed for energy efficiency...

Just refilled our 320 gallon tank to 80%. 128 gallons to the tune of $500 and change. We heat with wood, and our propane usage is confined to hot water and cooking.

He knows biden is destroying oil and gas to plunge most people into cold darkness. Obammy is a member of the ruling elite which makes rules but doesn’t follow them.

We will freeze in the dark but he, who is now rich, won’t.

Pushing the “green” life, is he? That is a huge amount of propane. I have a 250 gallon tank, propane kitchen stove, propane dryer, and propane heat. Even during the cold winters, I only fill it twice. I can’t imagine one 10 times the size of mine. He’s definitely not going “green.”

Very simple.

They're expecting power outtages.

And the reason thy need such a big tank is because they're planning to isolate there when the cities start to burn.

I have a big propane generator and many of the 20 pound ,BBQ type, propane cylinders for hurricanes.

I decided to go with the the smaller tanks because I can move them (without help) if necessary.

For your info, propane gas will last 'forever.'

“To run a generator for a long time in case a hurricane or nor’easter takes power out?”

My money would be on rolling blackouts due to AGW shuttered power plants. Maybe he knows something we don’t.
