Great logical explanation.

Are you kidding? His TV show was constantly a top program, it was all on issues that interest women. He was constantly on the magazines at the checkout counters. Where do you get he won’t win women?

“Will it pay off?”

Probably not. It sounds like Fetterman is using the Biden Basement strategy and we all know it paid off handsomely for Biden.

Paid off, Literally.

“His fundraising is pathetic.”

You’re certainly right about that. Plus, Democrats are going all-in to try to buy this seat for Ryan.

I don’t trust the national or state GOP to help Vance much, and some panicky last-minute Trump rally on his behalf would be a bad sign (because it shouldn’t be necessary), but for some reason I do, perhaps naively, trust the voters of Ohio to do the right thing here and not wind up with 2 liberal Democrats representing them in the Senate.

Furthermore, at least based on what we saw in 2020 Democrat vote fraud isn’t likely to be nearly as easy to accomplish here as it was and will be in other critical states like PA and GA (and AZ and WI and NV and....). Maybe this is one state where the Rats won’t be able to cheat the outcome of a close race.

His appearance is definitely not the typical “pretty boy” Dem.

He looks like one of those guys you see standing at an intersection with a squeegee in his hand, asking if he can clean your windshield for a couple of bucks.

> I’m going to write in Barnette. <

Trump should have backed Barnette in the primaries. She would play well in the region between Pittsburgh and Philadelphia. A carpetbagger named Mehmet Oz, not so much. And to be frank, the GOP can use more conservative black women in its ranks.

There is something to be said about going third-party as it sends a message. But as we see now, one more (or less) vote in the Senate can be critical.

It’s not an easy call. I wouldn’t criticize someone for going with Oz or for going third-party.

“I’m not voting for Oz. I’m going to write in Barnette.”

I cannot say that I blame you. I have used that ‘strategy’ for many years, decades even. If nothing else, it makes one feel good to cast a protest votes against The Party elites.

Vance is overweight. That will affect his stamina in doing face-to-face voter events. However, 538 predicts good odds for a victory:

Even Oz isn’t far off. And 538 is a Dem outfit.

Nope, he’s a turd...

Absolutely and utterly off brand for PA, and a completely inauthentic fraud....

Only way this turd wins is if the D brand is so damaged by Biden and the economy that a ham sandwich would win as long as it had an R by its name.

I was surprised when Trump endorsed Oz, and not in a good way.

“Where do you get he won’t win women?”

By looking at actual polling numbers.

Even the AARP poll referenced in the article (a poll which was conducted by REPUBLICAN pollsters) has Oz trailing by a whopping 14 points among women** — same margin as Mastriano, BTW.

If anyone thinks that gap is going to drastically narrow between now and November, I’ll find a bridge I can sell them. Oz may end up doing better with women than Mastriano will, but he’s never doing to do better with them than Uncle Festerman no matter how ugly he and his politics are. Liberal women ADORE him and they clearly outnumber conservative women in PA.

** (Of course I realize that any facet of any poll that isn’t all rainbows and sunshine is immediately discredited /s)

Oz is COMPLETELY off brand for PA, and completely inauthentic...

He’s not going to play worth a damn where a R needs to crush it in PA...

He’s going to lose and lose big.

If you want a candidate that will play well with bored suburban housewives around Philly and the NJ border who will vote for him simply because he was on TV and they “liked” him, Oz is an okay choice... but you don’t win PA as a Republican without CRUSHING it in the T.. and OZ will underperform the average GOP candidate once you get away from the east coast of PA... he’s going to just be crushed... won’t be within 5 points at the end of the day most likely and that’s with the biggest red wave at his back that I have ever seen...

Took him all of 10 minutes to drop every reference to Trump from his web site once he was declared winner.. he’s a fraud, has been from the get go and won’t sell worth a damn.. completely off brand..

You were warned fools.. the “electability” argument was laughable for this turd.

Well, what can you do? There was lots of criticism of the other 2 in that primary race. So what can you do, when faced with an election decision, among candidates who are all flawed?

Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Georgia are all the Republican’s to lose. Never underestimate their ability to blow it.

Incorrect, at least for Georgia. The Stacy Abrams Fraud Machine™ is still in place and functioning. Any statewide election (Governor, Senator) will be won with fraudulent ballots in Fulton County.

Nominating Herschel Walker didn't help.

Fetterman is much more like the out-of-work and\or “just-wants-enough-work-to-keep-his-truck-or-bike-running” guy you meet at the roadside bar in Central Pa. He looks just like them. Oz is a “wine-brie-women’s-issues” and daytime TV guy. His foreign origin name\religion differences aside he’s a Martian to these guys!

Wouldn't matter who got nominated. Stacy will manufacture any vote deficit, plus one.
