I wonder if Ferriero was the one who helped leaked the draft text of the Supreme Court’s ruling on Roe v Wade.

“”after finding classified information in boxes he retrieved from Mar-a-Lago.””

Isn’t that putting the cart before the horse there? Retrieved means AFTER the 8/8 raid? I’m lost but guess that puts me in the same category of those in the DOJ and FBI...

Ferreiro was a so-so national Archives leader after the disastrous administration of his predecessor Allen Weinstein (a good historian but a lousy leader).

He was also anti-Trump in his own way.

.......legal experts say a decade-old case over audio tapes that Bill Clinton once kept in his sock drawer may have significant impact over the FBI search of Melania Trump’s closet and Donald Trump’s personal office.........

FTA——The case in question is titled Judicial Watch v. National Archives and Records Administration and it involved an effort by the conservative watchdog to compel the Archives to forcibly seize hours of audio recordings that Clinton made during his presidency with historian Taylor Branch.

For pop culture, the case is most memorable for the revelation that the 42nd president for a time stored the audio tapes in his sock drawer at the White House.

The tapes became the focal point of a 2009 book that Branch wrote.

U.S. District Judge Amy Berman Jackson in Washington D.C. ultimately rejected Judicial Watch’s suit by concluding there was no provision in the Presidential Records Act to force the National Archives to seize records from a former president.

But Jackson’s ruling — along with the Justice Department’s arguments that preceded it — made some other sweeping declarations that have more direct relevance to the FBI’s decision to seize handwritten notes and files Trump took with him to Mar-a-Lago.

The most relevant is that a president’s discretion on what are personal vs. official records is far-reaching and solely his, as is his ability to declassify or destroy records at will.

May I ask you a question? Please don’t get upset But what makes you so sure we’re gonna capture both chambers? Have you been seeing and listening to our spineless wimpy leaders? When you are in Battle you never show your game plan to your enemy. By McConnell saying Republicans will probably lose the Senate must’ve been a gut punch to those Senate candidates who ere working their asses off to win a seat. I hate that man I hate him he is the most stupidest man who is very comfortable betraying his country, base and making gobs of money and happy to stay in the minority. HE MUST GO!!! Effing surrendering monkey!

I know. The GOP has gone decades addicted to pay for play schemes. The average voter is just an afterthought. I am hoping for the short term we will start cleaning house with the results of the primaries. Trump is doing good the winners and they will win for us. When they take over the Senate the old Turtle will slip back into the sea. When they take over the House, Pelosi will open up a Trump pick. I would choose Sarah Palin. In my area, we need Tiffany Smiley to take out that mom in rotten tennis shoes, Patty Murray. Her rot is adding to stench.

What a joke. Now that Trump has published the Standing Order Declassification, none of this is relevant. Deep State exposed again!

Mr. Ferriero is a partisan who changed the rules to help excuse Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

Rigged raid ensues Marxism never rests.

That’s the “leaker” that the dimwits have been guessing is Kushner.
Well, supposedly the feds were tipped off on right where to look. How would a retired record-keeper know this?

If he held a law enforcement position, I’d be a lot more
willing to incur a lethal penalty.

He’s just a political mutton-head doing what mutton-heads
do. The people that should have known the law, known the
Constitution, and the illegality of what he was urging them
to do, were the legal gate-keepers.

They failed, and committed high crimes. They are tampering
with election before, during, and after.

They have participated in an coup.

That is treasonous and there are penalties for it, that
are prescribed by law.

They didn’t “know just where to look”. They looked EVERYWHERE. They looked at Meliana’s wardrobe, for crying out loud. They spent 9 hours there.

Give it a rest with the nonsense.
