Anyone shocked by the Biden statement is not paying attention. It has been my assumption all along that they would go after Trump for holding unsecured classified documents.
We have beat the topic to death here at good old FR with the general conclusion that Trump had the power to declassify the documents in question. But what counts is - can he prove that he did indeed declassify all the documents he was holding. I think the FR consensus on that is that a single witness is enough proof of the declassification. A paper trail is better and it is known to exist for at least some but probably not all the Mar-a-Lago documents.
So expect more of this coming from your friendly MSM and your loving President.

Why would GSA pack top secret documents up without control of the documents? Are we to believe that GSA employees are ignorant of handling Top Secret documents? They just packed them up with no control - if they were indeed top secret? Team Biden better have a very good story line for this. At the next presstitute briefing they need to ask his Haitian lesbian spokesit if the President can declassify documents or does he have to go through a higher authority to declassify documents?
